We have a Heartbeat!!!

We have a heartbeat! Kam went with me to the dr this morning for my first ultrasound. The doctor was great and let Kam see the ultrasound and printed off two pictures for him. He told me that the appointment was "AWESOME!!!" He is enjoying the thought of being a big brother and asks everyday if I need to push the baby out. I'm not sure where he even got that because I had a c-section with him. We go back to the doctor on Jan 25 for our next appointment.

Out of the Mouths of Babes

So, I was craving Taco Bell today. Could not get it out of my mind, so I drove through on my way to work tonight. Kameron asked what we were doing and I told him that the baby wanted tacos. He was cool with the answer, didn't say much. We get to work and go into the break room to eat and wait for Michael to get there and pick Kam up. I'm eating my tacos and Kameron screams, "Don't eat all of the tacos mommy! Save some for the baby!"

First Dr's Appt.

We had our first Dr's appt today. It went well. I had to take Kameron with me, so that was an interesting experience. I had him sit in his stroller with his lunch while the dr was doing the exam. Then, when we went to the lab, Kameron sat on the bench and looked out the windows.

We go back at 8:30am on Monday, Dec. 21 to get the first ultrasound.

We did tell Kameron about the baby this morning before my appointment. He's super excited to be a big brother and keeps calling the baby a "she". He then goes on to tell me that he wants a little brother, so this may be interesting! He did tell me tonight that the baby was a boy, but in the same sentence, he called it a "she".

Again, we won't find out the sex of the baby until I deliver, so it's going to be a long 9 months.

Construction Project

We have started a new construction project. We are expanding our home by two feet!











That's right! Kameron is going to be a big brother!

As of right now, the due date is 08/09/10.

Our first appointment will be Monday, December 7, 2009 at 1:00pm. Unfortunately, it will be too early to get an ultrasound of our sweet little one, but we hope to be able to schedule an ultrasound appointment soon after. I will post all pics as soon as I can get them uploaded.

Again, we will not be finding out the gender of the baby. We want it to be a surprise.
